13" Sock It Too Me Stud

Post by clousewt »

I am looking for a small line bred Sock It Too Me male to breed one of my gyps. Most are 15" class, but I kind of prefer a smaller hound. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom Clouse

I have a male in the 13 in class, has been used only a limited amount of times, but has proved out very well, Goodtimes Ramblin Red Man is his name. If he is not what you need I have a couple of other {Very Good}
Sock It To Me males.
Thanks Goodtimes Too Kennels

Humble talk to Kanes Irish that visits this board. Rob aka Kanes Irish is the guy that owns Woody. He could tell you a lot more about him than anyone else, but for sake of arguement he has a couple males out of him that's placing pretty regularly up north. One is close to finishing.

Down around these parts, Earl, my cousin has a 13 1/4-1/2 male that's producing pretty well. Smokey is double Tome on the bottomside. Not many are using him because he doesn't have a title in front of his name, but Smokey has two 13" females that are usually in winners pack every time they run. One likes win to finish and the other God willing with get her wins as well come spring 06. In spring 05 in 5 trials she had a 1st, two 2nds, and NBQ. Both females are taking break from the trial scene this fall to raise pups. Another young bitch out of him has been run in 4 trials, made winners pack each time. Had her owners had her in better shape I think she'd placed each time. Most folks that have bred to Smokey have just been rabbit hunters, but I've yet to see anyone that's gotten a pup out of him complain. One thing you won't have to worry about is hunt... Smokey puts hunt and then some in them! He probably isn't as tight Sock It To Me as you guys are looking for, but nevertheless if you're interested, his picture and pedigree are on the classified site of my webpage.

I've seen Goodtimes Ramblin Red Man a few times Tom. Luna was out of Red Man. I got a few pictures of him if you want to see them. High energy dog like Cayenne is and looks almost identical. If I'm not mistaken they are littermates. Might not be the same litter, but I believe it's the same breeding.

Bobby Vest has a couple of smaller young males out of Pine Mt Chester he may sell. The bitch side is KingsWood Trex and Dandy Run North Star. These young males are just started nothing wrong with them except the fact they are going to stay small. The dam to these pups is smaller and seems to be the dominate size trait. She is one heck of a producer.

Not sure if Bobby will sell them he just said the other day that he didnt think they would be big enough for him.
