I took out one of the pups, out my litter we had earlier this year, that my wife shares custody of with another woman. This is I believe her 3rd time going to the field. We were listening to the other dogs running in front of us in the woods and she had ran along the field edge to our left probably about 70 yards or so. We heard some funny bark and we both thought we had a dog get away from the pack but it did not sound like any of them then Brian looked over to see Hope doing what look to be tracking so we got over closer where we could see her opening up. That was cool , I dont know if she saw a rabbit or not but she was definitely tracking one.
That always makes for a good day. cya, Paul

Thats realy cool when they run so young. About a month ago I took my five month old pup out and she ran three rabbits her first day out I couldn't believe it. I'm not an expert but it sounds like your going to have a real nice dog. Good luck with her and keep putting her in the woods she'll be SWEET.

i know this may sound crazy and i already know most of you think i am full of $#!T!!!!!!!but........I got a pup from Matt Glomski out of Hitman and Abi and at 2 1/2 months old sight chased and opened up on the track for about 20 yards on the FIRST rabbit he ever saw and i about fell over. Seems to me he is just going to have it. There is nothing like pups starting.
True Blue or nothing.
