Stolen dogs

Post by Matt Glomski »

My two best 13'' females were stolen tonight out of my dog box. Go into the store after a nights run and they are gone when I get out. What is this world coming to....I am just sick. A person sure can have years of work gone in a flash.

Sorry to hear that… what kind of store was it? If it was a Wal-Mart or your average gas station, I would ask them to check their security cameras. If they have them, some usually erase them after 48 hours. Or even a store next door to where you stopped… just a thought. Good Luck

akc, to my knowledge isn't going to a single registration unless the dogs are no longer intact or if you can prove akc ancestry through another registry..... does someone almost no good to steal a dog for that reason...

And trust me, I have been on the phone with them the last month trying to get a dog registered :argue:

Sorry about your dogs, I have had dogs taken from my kennel before...another possibility is some anti hunter lunatic

It was like a smal mall parkinglot. My cell phone broke so I had to go to the apple store to get it replaced. North side of Indianapolis. Never been to that part of town before. I did call and there are no security Cameras. It just discusses me, but there is really nothing a person can do??

Used to be in this area that any dog wondering the street would get nabbed up by what we figured were people selling them for a few bucks for lab dogs. My cousin had numerous house and yard dogs stolen that happened to get down to the highway. I think with the economy the way it is that guys will need to lock their stuff up whenever it is where these culprits can make off with it. I almost never used to lock my vehicle when I ran into the store or paid for gas but now I almost always DO. :angryfire:

Hope you get them back Matt. They were stealing them out of kennels around here last year. They got several from my neighbor then went across town and stole a bunch of rabbits from an old lady. I just dont get people today. :bash:

Matt, my heart goes out for you. Its sad to say the least when this is what someones life comes down to, having to steal a dog! About 15 yrs back, I came home to empty kennels... Days later I found out a person saw numbers painted on my dogs, and thought they were used for dog fighting and "rescued" them. One of those dogs was Syris.. I hope you find a happy ending to this sick mess. If there is anything, I or anyone on this board can do, just please yell!
