Yeah, there are plenty of average to cull hounds of all sizes; I was recommending a few big hounds that are extremely talented & worthy of taking a look at because of thier ability, not just thier size.

I'm always in the market for a cheap barn burner of any size if thier breeding suits me. Who's breeding these good hounds?

when I saw this question Trails was the dog that immediately came to mind. I have seen dozens of dogs out of him run and I could pick a trails dog out of a lineup. And out of all those dogs only one was no good and most of the siblings were good. If you are looking to add size and get a houndy looking batch of pups with a great pedigree Trails is worth a look.

Blue sly bob usually has some dogs that will throw some size, a couple of my buddies run his stuff and they are all right at the 15 mark except for a couple of big males that went over.

The Tony Eyer gangsters sure have had good luck with the Blue Sly bloodline crossed with Ranger Dan & some of Rudy Lapoint's ( Workman) old breedings.

Also, big mike, Trails has all 15" hounds in his bloodline; his sire, Gator was 14 1/2", Gator's sire, Baba Louie was 16"; Louie's sire, Pacestter was 15". Gator's dam, Robin was 14 1/2" ; her sire, Prop was 14 1/2"; Robin's dam, Grace was 15" & was by Sock It To Me, who was also BIG.
Trail's dam was by Skunk; he was a big powerful 15". Scott Music's FC female by Trails was a full 15" also. I saw her run many times & she was NICE!!!
