Buck as stated above be careful in HOW you use Gods word. It's not meant to spin and twist his word to fit what you think it means. Also when you throw gas on a fire I'm pretty sure the fire isn't going to go out.

Buck, u are missing my point. I've seen this post and a previous one where a guy was being called a molester of some sort and both were allowed to go on and on. Give a opinion of a dog and have legitimate reasons for opinion and it's a warning and locked. I could care less how this board is run, I just now know you can bash people on here but be nice to dogs. That's all, or maybe it just depends who it is. Yeah maybe that's it.

This thread has been reported several times - the way it should be, but for some reason I didn't get the alert notices. I do not read every thread on the board - I work a very long day, long week, and care for a property on my own. Not an excuse, but I do sort of rely on the membership here to give me or Aaron, or Ed a heads up if a thread gets too whacked out. I finally got a personal note on it so here I am.

I wish I had just one penny for every dog sale or equipment sale that has happened on this site. I could quit my job and still afford to buy me some Obamacare. (snort) But, I don't charge for the ads here. Why not? Because I think everyone can use a break, I love to give gifts, and this is a gift I can afford to give everyone. I'm especially proud to do it for those who value this board, and those who appreciate the several hours per week I spend activating accounts, looking up forgotten user names, deleting the thousands of spammers, resetting passwords for people, instructing them on the board features, all on my already tight schedule.

What doesn't make me happy is making this service available for those who would lie, cheat, deliberately misrepresent and otherwise take advantage of the membership. And disrespect them, which is the same as disrespecting me. There's absolutely no point in going to Katelyn's parents about this - I've tried and they either don't get my messages, or they don't care. Therefore, as soon as I finish this post I'm going to ban Katelyn permanently. This was her third strike. And I will also ban anyone who contacts me or makes a post to plead her case.

Just telling you up front, Bucks BB. You like people to think you are the noble one when it comes to this child. Well here's a little more truth telling. I'm extremely disappointed to have caught you plotting and goading Katelyn to start fights and aggravate the members here. I still have the private messages between you and Katelyn where you did it. If you are a parent, I feel very sorry for your children, and I hope you never find out that some older man has been conspiring with your underage daughter in private, encouraging her to misbehave and otherwise make destructive choices. Still feeling sanctimonious? Your fellow beaglers on here, especially the ones who are parents themselves, will most likely teach you some humility.

So in that vein, I'm not going to lock the thread. You like and want controversy, you got it. I'm just not going to allow that child to participate with you.

You have made disparaging comments about my parenting skills and even some that I would have to discuss with WardDog. I don't run from controversy and did not defend KK for any ulterior motive other than you were letting grown men pick on a girl. To imply otherwise is simply wrong and a misread of what I say. IT IS YOUR BOARD TO SAY OR BAN WHOMEVER YOU WANT. Of this I am aware. You imply that I have made some sort of wrong overture to this girl. I maintain that I have not. BBB, you're not being banned. But you're not being protected, either. What you did was inappropriate IMO, and it did nothing to help Katelyn - if anything you validating her all the time probably hurt her cause. But I made no reference to the nature of your improprieties other than it's just not cool to encourage a minor for bad behavior. And you did it in plain sight here as well. What gives with that? Are you really that bored that you need to encourage conflict? And do it at the expense of a young person? You knew she was a loose cannon and again, in my opinion, you exploited that.

And I will take my part of the responsibility for allowing her back on. This board is primarily for adults. Minors need adult permission to participate, and I never really got it from her parents. So there you go. I fixed my mistake.

The reference you make and made to inappropriate e-mails are inappropriate. Though it was called "private", it is not so post them please. I said nothing to KK that I wouldn't say to anyone. I know nothing about her. I tend to respond sincerely when I talk to people. Perhaps this comes across as being sanctimonious or like "Dear Abbey". We have a lot of fun on here and I believe I was just telling her to keep on having fun. I thought so little of the correspondence that I deleted it immediately.

I do have no more time on my hands than anyone else, boredom is not something I contend with, and I look on the people who respond as generally, my friends that verbally joust with me in kind. This will probably sound corny to you but here goes. We are born and then we begin to die. I have tried to spend the time in between learning and examining the human animal. Sometimes it is fulfilling and sometimes it is discouraging. I try to get people to think about the things that matter whether it be dogs, philosophy, theology, or scatology.

I don't easily tolerate people who do not examine their lives, are intolerant to others, or whose self inflated egos make them easy targets for a well placed dart. I will be making one more post to this board but, I must say, I have generally enjoyed it but when the end comes it must be acknowledged.
