heard PK could blitz the pack to the point they looked confused sounds like what Darkie done when you was judging in that heat Harry Jr @ BRVBC Paw King won under a lot judges so you cant argue with that and if he has won on snow cant argue he is a frigging beastie boy. Harry Jr I think you were judging when Darkies sire Buddy Black won the Trial Of Champs. As for 13's running in the 15's oh well if you want a new challenge or a glutton for punishment why worry if the dogs standing under your dogs belly unless he is trip hazard lol. I dOnt think there is a rule for running a gerbil as beamer says in the 15's heck in the thick stuff here a little dog like Paw King if he wheels a cottontail like he has hare in Canada this spring would leave a big hound missing chunks of hair or part his ear trying to pack up. Adam Seger has Awfulbawlin Jerker T over at his place says he can really pound a cottontail. monkman years ago sent me his runt sister got her pounded a ct like a pro first time lost her in freak accident. Heard Jerker T is about all that can hang with PK HECK call him pound king after this past year.GOT GIVE A DOG CREDIT that many judges felt he was azz kicker. Every dog has his day in the sun BUT NOT all get to win the trials he has at a young age like he has and his owner has had the fun of a life time I wont rain on a mans parade but hold the umbrella for him. Brandon pound him and win as many times as the little fella loves to go might end up with 20 or 3o wins but every body he poed as they want to finish their dog.But should nt be about finishing just a dog but beating the best to produce the best. If the owners of Trimmer and Ranger Dan had worried about everyone being poed then they would noy got to 30 wins and made history. I hope people dont get jealous and politic or judges out of pride or envy. That is not good for the breed. I like to win but if it means beating the best so be it. There's 2 things we dont need 1 are puppy mills another 2 manufactured FC's by setting the real deals on the shelf. You want better dogs then this is a part of the process not settling for second third best.

Darryl wrote:I think both Darkie and Paw king are great hounds and what sets them apart is there ability to come back to the point of loss. I saw Darkie come back to a loss 14 mins old and walk it out and run the rabbit for 2 mins before another hound could bark . This year i saw pawking do the same thing , they both just seem to always go where the rabbit went reguardless of what their pack mates were doing . Paw king was just more consistant . Sure would of like to Judge them head to head , toss in FTCH Stones Set Me Free a 13 inch male from the maritines who had something like 26 wins ... i really liked him too .
Yep Daryl I think Free was 8 years old when he won the CKC NLPC I owned his half brother IFC Tyson's Picking Banjo who was first runner up for BB high hound . His son FC Pea Ridge Jedi won like 9 out of 11 trials in the mwgda his daughter FC Jump N Run Xena owned by Jeff Martin had like 18 wins before she turned 3 was the BB high hound. Lot great hounds be nice best of 3 series Champions of Champions challenge 1 trial LPH 1 SPO-H (snow) 1 SPO - CT. Be something neat to see be 2 weeks time for conditioning and time to get use to new game get some conditioning and get a hound ran mainly on hare settled in. All grounds would be neutral areas dogs first time there preferabily in a wild chase scenario if possible.

during the futurity in early july / class of champions 13" combined Paw got picked up first dog out of class of 12 / he was going over the end so badly the pack could not keep the hare going with such a disruption

now before you all fire up the $hit cannons / I am not saying the dog maybe used to have talent and perhaps now has been subjected too many trials / but IMHO he should not have been put in when he is now running like that

Piche's dog that won looked very good as did the second place bitch which was a fulcount dog

MURPHY his sire is IFC Green Bay Butkus (shooter/wiley) his dam top producing bitch is FC Green Bay Blue Bay (striker/ Maravic's) MURPHY more info: Interestingily in 1993 Maravic's Blue Ninja was the Better Beagling high male and his sister 2X NLPC Maravic's Mimi would win her first NLPC with a back to back repeat NLPC in 1994.In 1995 Another sister NLPC FC Maravic's Missy won the honor.Their half brother in 1998-1999 won the NLPC twice 2x NLPC Maravics Blue Barry wins in LPH and spo-ct. In 2003 Blue Barry's daughter won the NLPC FC Pemi Rivers Blue Hope owned by Phil Reynolds. In 2005 another daughter NLPC FC Maravics Blue Barbie wins it owner Dick Stone she is now deceased. In 2008 Blue Barrys son wins it IFC NLPC Beavercreek Blue Max(futurity winner maybe not sure) now at stud in Kentucky owner Ernie Weir. In 2012 at 17 years old Blue Barry passes away just a couple months before his son FC Rex's Sidehill Keuka Blue whose the 2009 Better Beagling High Hound and 2010 first runner up wins the 2012 International Trial Of Champions. Salute to a great line of dogs for a job well done these are gone on Blue Max and Keuka Blue remain from this group to carry on. Maxie as Ernie calls him turned 9 years old february 23 my birthday, and Keuka turned 6 last month.Vic Constanza doesnt get online much breeder of the Maravics nor does Bill Mclaren Blue Barrys owner.Mark trudell could tell you a lot more than I as he is close friends with Vic. Competent Harry Snow Jr grew up being around these hounds from the NYHA with his dad and uncle George. Harry got to be around lot the best from the NYHA and CKC clubs Three jays Awfulbawlin Cry On Beavercreeks many others for young man lots of exposure.he is smarter than he is acting on his post just been out in the maritimes their language out der- just goofing off likely or been at a party. Some peoples idea of hounds vary is ok as each has their own preferences. But pays to listen to what they might have observed and others to make notes in your mind to use for your own breeding purposes.I failed to comment IFC Greenwells Reggie became top producing sire for 2011 line bred Maravics Blue Ninja on the dam side owner Terry gray of kentucky.please feel free to contribute on anything i left out.

Sbeagler thanks for the ped on pk and info on the others. There are a lot of Reggie dogs here in Ky. some I like and some aren't my style. haven't seen any of the green bay stuff go but heard really nice things about them. A guy from louisville had a double BlueBarry male name red rock I seen go a few times. He was a nice hound. Though I dont have any ninja stuff in the kennel I do seem like some of thier traits. I don't run much AKC and Canada is way to far to run CKC. I will be trying some mid west this fall got a male I am gonna try and see how he does. Been involve in Little pack since 93 and love it but got a male that just turned 4 and he has done pretty much everything he can do in little pack so gonna try him in pkc and some akc. He is Junie bred. Thanks for looking.

Glad to help you out Murphy. Here's a site that allows access to their pedigree data base http://www.beaglefieldtrials.com for a fee I think of $10 per year. It will show the pedigrees often to 7-8 gernerations is selectable, shows years they even won the NLPC, shows siblings, even shows descendants , so is a good tool for some one looking a bitch to track down to buy for breeding, or even a male. It s a very good tool.I was able to post a lot info for others to see thanks to Carl Post's work a beagler man himself that created it. If you join you can contribute even ARHA CKC UKC hounds their titles into the data base to share. I promise you wont be disappointed; I would recommend it to anyone.Once there click on forums, and then you can see where to register an account. Steve Church
