Welcome to the board Trackstar. My first piece of advice for you, although you didn't ask for it but is fitting, is to watch this board very close. I have learned over the many years of hunting behind hounds as well as talking them that there are those on this board that are like E.F. Hutton and when they speak even this ole boy listens. Then there are others that are like a fart in a whirlwind! You will be able to figure that out pretty quickly reading the posts. Some want to help or share what they have experienced over their years and others want to lead folks to believe their opinions are fact. I'll say that in all my years of following hounds I've yet to see a single person packin a PHD in beagling but what I have seen is several folks on here with many, many years of following the hounds through the changes in them as well as the atmosphere surrounding them. I hope you will find those to help answer your questions as one never gets too old to learn.

Re: ~Beware of TRACKSTAR~its TYSON~~

I kind of thought it was Tyson at first too until I looked at the website and saw a different guy.
I was just waiting for the crap to start, and here we go.
The guy is in North Carolina so I assumed he probably knew Tyson and was a friend of his.
But then again who the hell cares who it is??????
The post started stating he was new and wanted to learn, not trying to sell anything.
It is always so funny to me how so called Christians "Born again kennels" are the first to start
throwing stones and keeping the same old crap going.
It's sad to say but when someone goes to stating I'm a Christian a red flag goes up, if you have
to state it there's something wrong.
People should know without you telling them or stating it by your demeanor and the way you live your life.
This is not the demeanor of a Christian, but people tend to interpret what suits them and disregard the Urest.
If this man hasn't screwed you over shut the hell up, I get tired of seeing the same old negative crap
on this board.
I enjoy this board to talk about and read about hounds not the constant negativity.
For the guys that have been screwed over by Tyson, that is between those parties.
If he has been exposed no need to keep re-hatching it every time someone thinks he makes a post.
I have never met Tyson Anderson but I believe in karma do others wrong try to make it right or the
same will come back to you.
I understand letting others know to beware, but you should beware when dealing with strangers and buying dogs without
first seeing it run etc.....
I have been burned just like many others, and I have learned from it and moved on.
I usually don't comment on these negative post but enough is enough of the negativity.

Move on people and lets get back to Just Talkin Dogs!!!!!

You have spoke the truth, get over it and get on with the rabbit hunting!!!

Welcome to the board Trackstar! There ARE many on this board that have lots of good knowledge and experience to share and most are willing to help a guy out.
Beware though THERE are some of the other kind too and I think John was just a little too anxious to help you out in that direction also.Doubt he had bad intentions.

Unless you are willing to Travel to the Midwest to run AKC or Northern Hare. Save your time and money on the AKC down south events. Your dogs are way to fast unless you break two legs and tie them to a brick. They like one that blows holes in the ground. I run a lot of ARHA just cause it is really the only thing I can run. You can be at a ARHA club with in a couple of hours.

John is a good guy he meant no harm.

You can see that you get a bad name in this business quick.

I run a lot of Turbo, Northway, Branko, and Patch! I also run a ARHA club in NC. 919-369-6151 Feel free call me anytime.

I want to get a AKC club up in the area with some Midwest style running. Just have not pulled the trigger yet. But that is a major want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As Lee Cockman mentioned-----------I'm in the same boat as you with the style of dogs I keep [Blue Ninja blood ].The A.K.C. S.P.O. trials here in the south are U.B.G.F. dominated and they will take your entry $ but won't give your dogs a 5 minute look. And if the truth be known they hope you don't ever come back as they're scared to death that your hounds will "ruin" their dogs.
For the type of dogs we're keeping the Mid-West S.P.O. trials in Kentucky or the A.K.C. Large Pack trials in the Southern Large Pack [Louisiana,Mississippi ] are you're best bet.
Although I prefer the A.K.C. trials I've run and judged in lots of A.R.H.A. Little Pack trials and had plenty of good times with them also.
Would LOVE to see S.P.O. trials with the Mid-West style of dogs run in these parts!
