I told some friends that asked what he looked like that he reminded me of a German Shorthair pointer or some kind of bird dog the way he is colored. Very unique.

Thanks fellas for all of the kind words. He is a good acting pup as well. I will be looking forward to this Spring.

I would say you have a Red, White, and Blue dog there.

If he doesn't turn out to be a rabbit dog, I do know a couple firefighters that may want him.

In bird dogs, that is pretty common and its called LIVER TICKED. Longer hairs on face too.
Used to be some that color of Beagle around Chattanooga or Ootawah, Tennessee.

Thank-you sir for the compliment. I am excited to see what is going to come out of the three. They certainly have my attention at a young age. Who knows though, they may be a bunch of nice looking culls. :annoyed:

I have an AKC puppy registration application in my hand... 029 Black Tan & Bluetick and over to the side there is a box it is a 3 digit code box closely describes your dog that you can fill in 013 Ticked. Definitely Black Tan & Bluetick....And definitely a good lookin sunagun...as well as bred very very well. Best of luck with him.

That is what I was thinking about filling in; wasn't too sure about the bluetick, but I think he could be "labeled" that. Thank-you everybody for the compliments.

I thought he was a pup I raised at first. I raised a male, last year, that looked very similar. I don't have any pictures of him, but here are some of a female from the same litter, that also looks similar.

My dogs and yours have quite a few common ancestors.

He's a nice looking pup.
