I have 2 grandaughters and one grand son standing in my Kennels. Male is out of a female I bred ( FC Nash's Squirt ) x Iceman. One female out of FC Satsume Slim Jim ( FC Satsuma Joe x FC Nash's Squirt ) x FC Satsuma Blondie ( Viagra x Satsume sadie ) one female out of Iceman x Aweful Bawlin Elana. I am really likeing this blood in my crosses.

Can't go wrong with the Viagra hound from what I've seen. Only beat Bob King's IFC Cedar Beck Oliver by 2 offspring. Congrats !

I use to go stay at Art Beamers and Ros Dasnos for like 3 weeks at a time. While at Arts I would take him and solo him at the clubs I was a also a member of for Art as Beamers back hip etc were killing him. Some people might try to run Viagra in the 13 inch class but size did not matter to Viagra he needed no enhancement products he was Kick Azz out the gate and at some the trials he actually over powered the pack and could build a large lead. If it was average or above he was blazing fast but at the NLPC he did take second to Trails Steve Mickelson's hound in the fresh snow at Sandy Creek that day after winning the CKC NLPC in a driving rain the week before. I could tote Viagra under my arm he was not a big heavy dog like his brothers The Oxe- Awful Bawlin Zerox and Awful Bawlin Verswacker thats thrown winners as well and has beat Viagra a time or two.Verswacker last I heard is still living Harry Snow Jr can tell you his where abouts probably knows more about the Mountain Man hounds than anybody around. IMHO opinion the Mountain Man stuff is the most diverse dual threat SPO Cottontail midwest style and LPH SPO-H hounds alive today possibily ever. I handled Viagra for Art at Java Village Beagle Club SPO hare/cottontail. Art had not ran him on cottontail only hare at that point He was little aggressive but impressive to be truthful could drive the cottontails in an explosive off the check fashion screaming on the drives- not seen many dogs wheel a rabbit like him . At times he gotta little to far off the check from being ran on hare only lost some score but if been ran soloed on cottontails wow be been a beast on them no doubt. Art got his ribbon went home saying this" SPO stuff is to much work and doesnt wear the edge off a power house hound" and doesnt test for grittiness, and stamina. I have to say for Viagras size he was incedibily tough with wheels to burn, and i seen him start figuring those cottontails out that day knowing I would breed to him have his blood here. It was a great shame he died young with several good breeding years still left him.He would been a top sire for years to come if he had not died. Art had 125 acres of cedar swamp out behind his house at day break he often had his own field trial turn out the kennel.Viagra would come in last every night. Art would give me his light to fectch him well after the others had come in that evening some 17 -18 hours later so he didn't run his pads off.Amazingily he wouldnt look tired when I leashed him up and would look ready to go the next day if you let him. He reminded me of a 3 day walker fox hound with his resilency and toughness. I am kinda of a private person but when I got the call he was dead I had to suck it up my eyes got wet leaked a little- had to go find a place to regroup. Ounce per ounce pound for pound I never seen his equal pushing 50 years of having beagles and fox hounds.A smart tough atletic hound. Almost forgot won the Futurity one day took i believe third very next day in Champion class shows how tough he really was.

Good story!! I own a male out of Viagra and Sadie that has been a pleasure to watch run a rabbit he passed his all day hunt and stamina on to Veet also I'm really happy w what I'm seeing out his pups. Viagra did pass way to early and I've been waiting to see him on top for awhile now glad to see him get there where he belongs.

The first thing I thought when I saw that article was how happy I was for Art, We use to have so much fun with him back in the day the crap we use to pull on each other and stories he use to tell us. You touched on something I have long believed, the way Art would train his hounds and for a hound like Viagra to come to the top like he did speaks volumes for his abilities and breeding!! It took something special to survive his program and excel like he did. I never had anything to breed to Viagra when he was alive but I did take my best bitch to a Viagra male who I was very fond of him and his dam side breeding. I now run 2 nice young 15" bitchs off that male and I atribute much of my sucess to Viagra!! Only 5 wks ago I bred to another very nice Mtn.Man bred male and I am hoping for much the same in results...Congrats to Art and Viagra!!

I saw Verswacker a few weeks ago and he is alive and well at Harrys...the old boys a bit grey and hard to recognize but he looked well! Take a few minutes and do a little research into what whacker has produced over the years he should not be over looked!

Wow, congrats to Viagra, Monk (RIP), Art and Danny. Lots of memories. Funny I am meeting Harry today to keep Wacker here for a few days for romantic visit! Hoser was one of the best 15" bitches I ever got to see. She has put some great pups on the ground, Viagra, Wack and don't forget IFC AB Jerker T, super nice little male. Wacker is going on 11yrs old so this breeding is going fast. He has put his share on the bench the last few years, like Jason said look it up, esp. in the Canadian results. Great line The Man lives on!
